Company Records was started in 2014 by Chaz B. of Toro y Moi. July 8th will be the label’s first showcase featuring music, art, live projections, and pop-up shop. Upstairs will host the line up features Chaz B.’s debut performance as his psych-ambient project, PLUM. Followed by performances from Tanukichan and Madeline Kenny, and Vinyl Williams. Downstairs will also feature a showcase from Oakland based label Hot Records Societe (HRS). Upstairs will feature visuals from Bay Area’s own Mad Alchemy with downstair visuals provided by HRS. There will be all day freebies and art give aways– first-come, first-served.
