Women In Music Festival: Candied Yamz Dance Party

Dance the night away at our Candied Yamz! Party at Starline Social Club, with DJ sets from Fela Kutchii, Sweetest Threat, Red Corvette, and a headlining set from Prince’s former tour DJ, Pam The Funkstress, along with special guests and a photo booth installation. Strong vibrations, eclectic energy, and unlimited spirit — this event is open to everyone.

Women in Music - Bay Area, is a weekend-long multi-generational conference and festival dedicated to women breaking ground in music. Across a selection of panels, workshops, film screenings, and dance parties, WIM will bring together women from all areas of the music industry. In a traditionally male-dominated industry, women are progressively becoming core parts of music scenes, ranging from local to global. #WIMBayArea will bring awareness to the variety of lanes that women are diversifying, while encouraging more female participation, empowerment, and entrepreneurship. In addition to honoring women already in the music industry, #WIMBayArea is open to everyone.

The goal of #WIMBayArea is simple: to provide a local platform for women to unite, network, and celebrate across genres, ages, and ethnicity.

10% of proceeds from all ticketed events will be donated to the Bay Area Girls Rock Camp.
