Young Moon is Trevor Montgomery (Lazarus, The Drift), Danny Grody (The Drift, Tarental), Jeff Moller and Syam Zapalowski (Blood Sister). They are currently in the studio working on their 2016 release but are taking a night off for this very special performance at the Starline Social Club. Paul Clipson will be providing projections for Young Moon’s set which will feature material from their upcoming release. Paul Clipsonhttp://www.withinmirrors.org/ is a San Francisco-based filmmaker and experimental film artist whose work involves projected installation and live collaborative performances with sound artists and musicians. His largely improvised, in-camera-edited films bring to light subconscious preoccupations and unexpected visual forms. His works have been exhibited and performed both nationally and internationally at such festivals as the New York Film Festival, Edinburgh Film Festival, and the Rotterdam International Film Festival.

There aren't many American singers possessed of a fine country twang who are actually from the Deep South, but such is the case for the talented Paula Frazer, who far from being any sort of clone also brings the same wide range of influences to bear on her own work, from punk and blues to cabaret and gospel, for her own striking musical visions.

“Joseph Childress fleshes out his music and meaning in his songs with his vocals better than any myriad of instruments or backing musicians ever could. The type of voice that rattles your bones when you’re sitting two rows back, where you can’t wipe that smile off your face as you think how long you’ve waited to hear an artist that truly inspires you to pay attention to nothing else but their performance.”
