Okolona:

Adriana Atema is a multi-disciplinary creative. Formerly Wildlife Freeway, Okolona is Atema's musical identity. Okolona music and performances weave stories and sounds of earth beings and animals as aliens stepping out of time and into the present musical moving stillness using voice, piano, guitar and various instruments. Atema has performed with Senyawa, Arrington de Dionisio, Matana Roberts, Kyp Malone, Greg Fox, Kelsey Lu and many other musical movers. In addition to performing Adriana Atema has hosted Art Music Tea Parties all over the country, interactive performance nights bringing eclectic groups together sharing songs sounds words and wonder.

Okolona, has just released the 'Cold Ocean' music video https://vimeo.com/181340708 and is going on tour with Erin Durant and Kyp Malone (TV on the Radio) this October.

Erin Durant:

Erin is a songwriter and musician based in Brooklyn, NY. Her musical language is equal parts silence to sound coupled with hyper-visual, story-based lyrics. Durant has made two EPs and will release her first full-length,Blueberry Mountain, on Flying Moonlight Records Nov 3.  

The New York Times wrote about Durant hauling a real ¾ size upright piano from show to show, “She is  a New Orleans transplant who moved to New York a decade ago, craves the sonic solidity and three-dimensionality of the real thing.”
