Indelicato: Julie Indelicato has a cult following in her native San Francisco. With a voice that runs with the best of them—part Ella Fitzgerald, part Amanda Palmer, Julie is unlike anyone in today’s spotlight. She breathes an intoxicatingly delicate life into the songs she chooses: mostly obscure and flattering covers that illustrate her stripped-down acoustic melodies and a vocal range that could shake the dust off the highest chandelier of a burlesque parlor and make it dance, tantalizing the hair of your inner ear. Julie brings a musical theatre air to each performance, often charming the audience so that one feels as if they’ve known her forever—or wants to start now.
