"There’s a fiesty, witty, independent streak to Grant Langston that ensures he is nobody’s musical clone." - Parc Bench
Grant Langston grew up in Hartselle, Alabama, on a steady diet of Hank Jr., Jerry Reed, Merle Haggard and gospel quartets. He even joined a gospel quartet, playing bass, and from the ages of 13 to 15 toured around the Southeast U.S.
Nashville and all it meant did not suit himself or his style, so he moved to Los Angeles and started making music. In 2000, the first Grant Langston record appeared, All This And Pecan Pie.
Since then he’s released five more, which include Road Side Service (featuring a honky tonk version of Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls”, and Stand Up Man, a Top 25 Americana chart hit.
He’s had many songs placed in film and television, most recently HBO’s “True Blood”, composed the score to the 2012 award-winning short “Station Zero” and Mike Fiffis” film “Suspension Of Disbelief”.
